Susan M. Hennen RAP, Partner Susan, the “Hennen” in Habben Hennen & Co. brings with her over 25 years of Public Accounting experience.  She started in the field after getting her Accounting Degree from St. Cloud Technical College, later purchasing the St. Joseph office in 2002.  She, along with the St. Joseph office team, specializes in Individual and Business Tax preparation, Accounting, and Payroll.  When she’s not at the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, bowling, and spending time with her friends and family
Mark Emmerson CPA Mark has 17 years of experience in the accounting field (14 as a CPA).  He joined Habben Hennen & Co. in 2004; just 2 years after Sue acquired the St. Joseph office. He has his degree in Accounting from St. Cloud State University. Within the firm, he specializes in Small Business and personal taxes, as well as other business accounting needs.  In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, camping, and any other activities he can enjoy with his wife and 2 children
Linda Gertken Office Manager Linda has been with Habben Hennen & Co. since the beginning of 2005.  A Moorhead State University graduate (go Dragons!), she brings with her 10 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.    Aside from the Management responsibilities at the firm, she also handles payroll, payroll taxes, data entry, general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and individual tax returns.  She enjoys scrap booking and spending time with her husband and three children when she gets away from the demands of the office.
Becky Neu Receptionist Becky is the newest member of the St. Joseph office, joining the firm in December of 2007. After obtaining her Managerial Accounting Diploma from Rasmussen College in 2001, she gained 6 ½ years of accounts payable/receivable and payroll experience while working for a John Deer dealer.  It’s easy to say she’s “the voice” of the St. Joseph office, as she manages the phones, schedules appointments, and is the first person you’ll see when you walk in the door.  Aside from those reception duties, she also processes payroll and data entry.  She loves the outdoors, no matter if it’s fishing, hunting, snowmobiling or boating.  She also loves scrap booking, NASCAR, and selling Lia Sophia jewelry (hey, you can’t beat free advertising, can you?).
Rick Wurst Staff Accountant Rick has worked as a tax professional since 1988, with the last 13 of those years at Habben Hennen & Co.  He has 22 years experience in the brokerage industry and is securities licensed with Financial Network Investment Corp as a Financial Advisor.  He attended St. Cloud State University and obtained a degree in Organizational Management and Communication from Concordia College.  He has a wide variety of interests including (but certainly not limited to!) fishing/hunting, reading, farming, cars, and pretty much anything outdoors.
